Create MaxCompute Data Source
NineData lets you manage data sources across types and environments in one console. After you add a MaxCompute data source, it is available to supported features such as Database DevOps, Backup and Restore, Data Replication, and Data Comparison. This guide explains how to add an Alibaba Cloud MaxCompute data source to NineData.
Before you begin
The server IP address of NineData has been added to the data source allowlist. The server IP address can be viewed by selecting the target region in Access Region on the Create Datasource page.

Make sure data source quota is available; otherwise, the data source cannot be added. Check the remaining quota in the NineData Console header.

Procedure
Sign in to the NineData Console.
Open Datasource > Datasource.
On the Datasource tab, click Create Datasource. In the data source type selector, choose Alibaba Cloud > Cloud Datasource > MaxCompute.
tipIf you select the wrong type, click the
icon at the top of the Create Datasource page to choose another data source type.
On the Create Datasource page, configure the MaxCompute data source parameters:
Parameter Description Name Enter a data source name. Connection Select the connection method used to connect to MaxCompute. The console currently supports External Endpoint and Intranet Endpoint. Endpoint Address Enter the MaxCompute endpoint. Project Name Enter the MaxCompute project name. Access Credentials Select the configured Alibaba Cloud access credentials. If no credentials are configured, see Configure Cloud Vendor Access Credentials first. Access Region Select the access region nearest to the MaxCompute project. Environment Select the environment tag for the data source, such as PROD or DEV. After you configure all parameters, click Connection Test next to Create Datasource to test the connection. When Connection Successfully appears, click Create Datasource to create the data source.
Result
After the connection test succeeds and the data source is created, it appears in the data source list and is available to NineData features that support MaxCompute.
