Enable MFA Multi-Factor Authentication
After enabling MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), all members of the current organization will need to complete identity verification with an additional dynamic verification code generated by an MFA device (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) in addition to their password when logging into NineData, significantly enhancing account security.
Prerequisites
- You have already created or joined an organization, and the organization has subscribed to . Please ensure that your annual or monthly subscription is still active. For more information, please refer to Manage Organizations.
- Your current account has been switched to the target organization. For more information, please refer to Switching to an Organization.
- Have installed an MFA APP on a mobile device, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator.
Step 1: Enable MFA (Only System Administrators Can Operate)
- Log in to the NineData Console.
- In the left navigation bar, click .
- In the area, turn on the switch next to MFA.
- Use the MFA app on your mobile device to scan the QR code provided on the page, which will generate the corresponding MFA token in the MFA app. Enter the 6-digit dynamic verification code generated by the MFA token on the NineData page and click .
- After confirming the enablement, the system will force all organization members to complete MFA binding at the next login. It is recommended that system administrators notify organization members in advance of the MFA enablement plan.
- For subsequent logins, a verification code generated by this MFA token will be required.
Step 2: Members' First Login to Bind MFA
When the administrator enables MFA, the organization members will trigger the MFA binding process upon their first login.
Enter your account password in the NineData Console to complete the basic verification, at which point a QR code window will pop up on the page.
Use the MFA app on your mobile device to scan the QR code on the page, which will generate the corresponding MFA token in the MFA app. Enter the 6-digit dynamic verification code generated by the MFA token on the NineData page and click to log in successfully.

Disable MFA (Only System Administrators Can Operate)
