Manage basic account information

Use the account information page to update your profile, bind or unbind third-party login methods, and change your NineData password.

Before you begin

Sign in to the NineData console with the account whose profile, third-party login binding, or password you want to manage.

Procedure

Update personal information

1. Sign in to the NineData Console.

2. Go to Account > Personal Info.

   tip

   If Account is not displayed, make sure your console is in organization mode. To switch from personal mode to organization mode, see Switch to organization.

3. On the Profile Info tab, update the required fields.

   Parameter	Description
   Username	The name displayed for your account in the organization. Supports up to 32 characters.
   Phone	Modify your phone number. Note: If your current account was registered and verified with a phone number, the phone number cannot be changed.
   Email	Modify your email address. Note: If your current account was registered and verified with an email address, the email address cannot be changed.
   Avatar	Change your account avatar. Click Change Avatar to upload an image in png or jpg format.

4. Click Save.

Bind or unbind third-party login

After a third-party login is bound, sign in to the NineData console by scanning a QR code in the third-party app.

1. Sign in to the NineData Console.

2. Go to Account > Personal Info.

   tip

   If Account is not displayed, make sure your console is in organization mode. To switch from personal mode to organization mode, see Switch to organization.

3. Click the Third Party Login tab and then click Login with WeChat under Bind Now.

4. In the Bind Account dialog, use WeChat on your mobile device to scan the QR code.

5. On your mobile device, follow the prompts and click Allow to bind your WeChat account to your NineData account. After binding, sign in to the NineData console by scanning the QR code with WeChat.

6. To unbind WeChat later, click Unbind below Login with WeChat , enter Verification Code, and click Unbind.

Change password

1. Sign in to the NineData Console.

2. Go to Account > Personal Info.

   tip

   If Account is not displayed, make sure your console is in organization mode. To switch from personal mode to organization mode, see Switch to organization.

3. Click the Modify Password tab, and then click Get Code. NineData sends the verification code to the phone number or email address displayed on the page.

4. Enter the verification code in Verification Code, enter the new password in New Password, and click Save.

   tip

   The new password must meet the following requirements:

   • The password length is 8 to 16 characters.
   • The password can contain English letters, numbers, and special characters except spaces.
   • Must contain at least one English letter and one number.

Result

Your profile changes, third-party login binding, or password update is saved for the current NineData account.
