Managing Sensitivity Levels
Sensitivity levels are a method used to classify and protect sensitive data by dividing it into different levels and setting corresponding approval processes based on these levels. The sensitivity levels of data range from S0 to S5, with higher numbers indicating greater sensitivity and security requirements for the data.
Prerequisites
- You have created or joined an organization, and this organization has subscribed to either DevOps Pro or DevOps Enterprise. Please ensure that your annual or monthly subscription is still active. For more information, please refer to Manage Organizations.
- Your current account has switched to the target organization. For more information, please refer to Switching to an Organization.
Deleting Sensitivity Levels
NineData's sensitive data includes six levels from S0 to S5, and all are provided by default, so adjustments are generally not needed. If deletion is required, it can only be done by deleting from high to low without any fields or data types associated with the current level. After deletion, it is supported to be restored through the Create Sensitivity Level method.
Notes
- Sensitivity levels associated with fields or data types are not supported for deletion.
- S0 and S1 sensitivity levels are not supported for deletion.
- Only deletion from high to low is supported as needed for sensitivity levels.
Operation Steps
- Log in to the NineData Console.
- In the left navigation bar, click Datasource>Sensitive Data.
- Click on the Sensitivity Level tab on the page, then click on Delete under the Actions column to the right of the sensitivity level at the bottom.
- Click OK in the confirmation window that pops up.

Creating Sensitivity Levels
Deleted sensitivity levels can be added back through this feature.

- Creating sensitivity levels is only necessary when the system's reserved sensitivity levels have been deleted.
Operation Steps

In the popped-up page, select Level Color and Description (optional), and click OK.
