Configure alert recipients
NineData can send alert notifications to recipient groups or webhooks. Use recipient groups for user-based notifications, and use webhooks to send alerts to collaboration tools such as DingTalk, Lark (Feishu), or WeChat Work.
Before you begin
Prepare the users, email addresses, phone numbers, or webhook endpoints that should receive alert notifications.
Create an alert recipient group
Sign in to the NineData Console.
Open Alert > Receiver.
On the Receiver Group tab, click Create Group.
On the Create Group page, configure the settings in the table.
Parameter Description Name Enter a recipient group name. Use a clear name for later search and management. Up to 24 characters are supported. Add Users Click the field under Add Users to show users in the current organization. Select the users to add, or enter part of a user name to search. Click Create Group.
tipNineData provides a default recipient group named
Default Recipient Group. To add recipients to an existing group, click Edit in the Actions column for that group. Use the same settings described in the table above.
Create a webhook
Sign in to the NineData Console.
Open Alert > Receiver.
Click the Webhook tab, and then click Create Webhook.
On the Create Webhook page, configure the settings in the table.
Parameter Description Name Enter a webhook name. Use a clear name for later search and management. Up to 24 characters are supported. Feishu/DingTalk/WeCom Webhook Enter the webhook URL for the group bot. If signature verification is enabled for the webhook URL, enter the signature key in Signature Key. Leave it blank if signature verification is not enabled.
For provider instructions, see:Signature Key Enter the signature key for the webhook URL. If the webhook URL does not use a signature key, leave this field blank. Click Create Webhook.
tipAfter you click Create Webhook, NineData verifies the webhook URL and signature key, if any. If validation fails, update the configuration based on the error message and try again.
