Manage Data Replication Resource Lifecycle
This topic describes the Renew, Unsubscription, Change to Subscription , freezing, and release rules for commercialized Data Replication resources.
Entries
Lifecycle operations are usually available from:
- The operation column on the Data Replication task list page.
- The operation entry in the upper-right corner of the Data Replication task details page.
Available operations depend on Pay Method and resource status.
Renewal
Subscription resources support manual renewal.
- In the Data Replication task list, click
in the Actions column on the right, and then click Resource renewal.
- In the Resource renewal dialog box, select Duration.
- Click Renew now. After confirming that the information is correct, click OK.
Renewal duration can be 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, or 5 years. After payment succeeds, the system updates the resource expiry time. If payment fails, the expiry time does not change.
Convert to Subscription
Pay as you go resources can be converted to Subscription.
- In the Data Replication task list, click
in the Actions column on the right of a Pay as you go resource, and then click Change to Subscription .
- In the Change to Subscription dialog box, select Duration.
- Click Convert now. After confirming that the information is correct, click OK.
After payment succeeds, the system stops subsequent pay-as-you-go billing for the resource and switches it to Subscription. If payment fails, the resource remains Pay as you go.
Unsubscription
Unsubscription releases the resource. After unsubscription, the replication task cannot be restored. Proceed with caution.
| Pay Method | Rule |
|---|---|
| Pay as you go | After secondary confirmation, the resource is released and future billing stops. |
| Subscription | The confirmation page shows task ID/name, creator, specification, Expired, and refund amount. After confirmation, the resource is released and refunded by rule. |
Subscription refunds are calculated by payment order. The system calculates refundable amount by each order's actual unit price and unused days. Only the amount paid from account balance is refunded. Voucher deductions are not returned.
Reconfiguration
If a resource needs to be reconfigured because of configuration errors or runtime exceptions, use Reset Task. Reconfiguration discards the old task. You must configure and run the replication task again.
Freezing and Release
| Scenario | Rule |
|---|---|
| Subscription resource expires without renewal | The resource enters Freezed. Running tasks are paused. Renew within 7 days to restore; otherwise, the resource is terminated and released. |
| Pay as you go arrears exceed 100 CNY | The resource enters Freezed. Go to Recharge and settle arrears within 7 days to restore; otherwise, the resource is terminated and released. |
| Deferred settlement deduction fails | Related resources in the settlement cycle enter the frozen state and recover after settlement succeeds. |
Released resources cannot be restored. Renew before expiry and keep sufficient account balance.
