View backup sets

NineData lets you view backup sets across all environments that are available to the current user in personal mode or the current organization in organization mode.

Before you begin

At least one backup task must have generated a backup set. To create a backup task, see Perform logical backup or Perform physical backup.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the NineData Console.

  2. In the navigation pane, click Backup > Backup Set.

  3. On the Backup Set page, use the available actions in the table.

    View full backup sets and log backup setsClick the Full Backup Set tab or the Log Backup Set tab.
    Download a log backup setTo download a Binlog file for troubleshooting or traceability, open the Log Backup Set tab and click Download in the Actions column for the target Binlog file.
    Note: Use Copy Link to download the file with another tool.
    Restore a Finished backup set to a target data sourceClick Restore in the Actions column for the target backup set ID. For details, see Restore logical backup data or Restore physical backup data.
    Query data in a Finished backup set onlineClick Backup Query in the Actions column for the target backup set ID. For details, see Query backup data.
    View backup set detailsClick Details in the Actions column for the target backup set ID.
    Terminate a Running or failed backup setClick Terminate in the Actions column for the target backup set ID.
    Delete a backup setClick Delete in the Actions column for the target backup set ID.
    tip

    For actions that are not displayed directly in the table, click the More actions button in the Actions column.

Result

From the Backup Set page, review backup set status, download log files, start restore or backup query workflows, and manage backup sets.
