Version Upgrade

When a new version of NineData is available, upgrade your exclusive NineData cluster.

NineData service has been installed on your server.

In a high-availability architecture, run this operation once on one NineData server node. One run upgrades all nodes.

Download the upgrade package, which is usually obtained by contacting the NineData team.
Open the terminal, navigate to the NineData upgrade directory, and decompress the upgrade package. This example is in the "upgrade" directory under the current user's directory.
```
cd ~/upgrade
tar -zxvf upgrade.tar.gz
```
Enter the upgrade package directory cd <upgrade package directory>, and execute the following command to upgrade the NineData exclusive cluster.
```
sh upgrade.sh
```
Wait for the terminal to display upgrade from x.x.x to x.x.x success, which indicates that the upgrade has succeeded. If an error message appears during the upgrade process, record it and contact the NineData team.
