Uninstalling the Cluster
Use this procedure to uninstall all NineData cluster services from the current node.
Before you begin
Data backup: Back up important data before you start. Uninstallation removes all services and data from the current node, including databases, configuration files, and logs.
Service migration: If the current node is running critical services, migrate those services to other nodes or confirm that redundancy is in place.
Operation confirmation: Confirm that you want to uninstall the node. Some operations may be irreversible after execution begins.
Procedure
This operation removes all services from the node, including K3S, Docker containers, and Docker services. It stops services and may delete data, which can cause irreversible results.
On the host where the NineData exclusive cluster service is installed, execute the following command to stop and remove the NineData service container.
docker stop ninedata && docker rm ninedataExecute the following command to delete the data directory,
--data-diris the data directory parameter specified during installation.rm -rf <data-dir directory path>If the ETCD data directory parameter was specified when deploying the NineData high-availability architecture, then execute the following command to delete the ETCD data directory.
rm -rf <etcd-data-dir directory path>To uninstall services from other nodes, connect to each node and repeat steps 1, 2, and 3.
